This Canvas was commissioned by national geographic in 1965 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Civil War.

The framed is solid wood and measure 1 3/4" wide.
The canvas is mounted onto hardboard and then shielded with a textured Canvas coating that is 100% UV protected. The finish provides excellent protection against fingerprints, scratches, abrasion, moisture, and dirt. The surface is easily cleaned with glass cleaner; rock solid coating that simulates the look and feel of real canvas; and comes with a recommended picture hanger.

The mats are 100% cotton rag that meets the Library of Congress standard for conservation. The mats are covered with UV light blocking plexiglass to protect the art from damaging UV light rays. The back of the frame is protected with a dust cover. The original certificate of authenticity is inserted into a pocket that is attached to the back of the frame. The braided picture wire is covered with vinyl and secured into the back of the frame. This print is ready to hang on your wall and comes complete with a recommended hanger. Our frames and matting are hand selected for each piece, we don't bulk buy and force the same frame onto all our prints.
